A driving force behind positive transformation, Dr. King’s GreatMinds International (GMI) is committed to empowering and equipping young Africans worldwide to drive progress in Africa and beyond. His passion for nurturing young leaders and entrepreneurs is further evident in his project BLEND, an initiative focused on breeding visionary leaders and entrepreneurs for the nation’s development.
In the year 2000, Dr. King, along with his wife Folasade, pioneered the School of Developing Future Leaders Limited, Nigeria, a transformative institution that has nurtured numerous successful entrepreneurs and organizational leaders on a global scale.
Through the Arise Africa America Forum(South Africa 2010). Dr. King has created a dynamic platform for African leaders across various economic sectors to engage in collaborative brainstorming with other global leaders.
This invaluable forum facilitates the allocation of resources to projects that inspire positive change and progress. Notably, Dr. King’s impact extends to various pioneering initiatives, such as the African Chamber of Commerce LLC USA and his tenure as CEO of NABNtv. He has also established the Ambassadors town hall, providing a unique platform for networking with Ambassadors from African countries serving in the United States of America.
As an accomplished entrepreneur, author, and leadership coach, Dr. King’s expertise has earned him invitations to speak at several prestigious international events. He is the esteemed convener of the annual CEO business convention and International
Conference, further solidifying his position as a thought leader and influencer.
Furthermore, Dr. King generously serves on the Advisory Board of several local and global organizations, offering invaluable insights and guidance to further their missions.
Currently residing in New Jersey, USA, Dr. Victor King Akinwande is blessed with a loving partner, Glory, and together they share the joy of raising three wonderful children.
